Kathy Farabi
Kathy came to Trinidad in 1977 and became a proud citizen in 2013. For over two decades, she nurtured young minds at the University Primary School in St. Augustine, where she introduced children ages 4 to 11 to the joy of art. Since retiring in 2013, Kathy has devoted herself more fully to her own creative journey.
A member of the Bahá’í Faith, she often turns to its sacred Writings for inspiration, drawing on their beauty and wisdom to shape her artistic vision. Her paintings, created in bright acrylic colours, explore religious, cultural, and environmental themes. Working in both realistic and semi-abstract styles, Kathy expresses her belief that art is not only a form of creativity, but also a form of worship—an expression of devotion and connection to the divine.
