“What We Carry” explores the invisible traces of inheritance- the memories, experiences, histories and fragments of identity that journeys from one generation to another. Layers of colour and gestural marks emerge, disappear and reappear across the surface, suggesting the continual transformation of what we inherit. Some forms appear familiar while others resonate into abstraction, reflecting how memory changes over time . The painting becomes both a record and a process: a layering of what is remembered, what lingers, and what evolves.
