Roses of Sharon' is a wearable piece of art. The piece which can be worn as a shawl is a free-flowing self-contained floral design. The hibiscus flowers which are also called the roses of Sharon are the inspiration for this piece. Many of my textile designs are based on aspects of nature. This is my legacy as I strive to nurture, enjoy and immortalise our natural environment in my works of art.
