About this Piece

Our Legacy is in the hands that shape the sound, reflecting the creative process; the quiet, patient work
that happens long before a note is played. The intimate relationship between the pan, tuner and arranger is forged in quiet concentration in the spaces that nurture it. The craftsman is surrounded by dozens of finished instruments, yet his attention is fixed on the single pan before him. Every orchestra begins with one person, one instrument, and the patience to shape sound from steel.
