River Over the Rocks
The inspiration first came after visiting while on holiday, a rural wooded area 2008 in Kentucky, USA.
Rescued from flood waters at my office, where I kept unfinished artwork, once back home in Trinidad, it
was only 30 percent completed. Years later and sometime thereafter, the determination to finish the
painting, was sudden and surprisingly a lot of fun. One day a friend saw it after completion and
immediately called it "River over the Rocks" and the name stuck.
