Having my art displayed to the wider world has always been a dream of mine. I mostly work with acrylic paint, but oil pastels occasionally find its way as a medium of choice. Seascapes and landscapes are my deepest inspiration.
Golden Falls
My largest attempt at semi abstract art to date, this piece pushed me out of my comfort zone. Forms were loosely inspired by mountain formations featured in Chinese landscape paintings. As the sun sets, its rays cast reflections unto the waterfall, forming a golden cascade into the lake below.
Enjoying the View
A view of the sea from an elevation, serene and enchanting. Brush strokes and formations of light were inspired by the impressionist artwork of the 19th century. Texture paste is incorporated to achieve more depth and tactile elements in the foreground.
