La Jolie Petite Mason

Built in the early 1900's this picturesque little gingerbread style house is located at 67 Cipriani
Boulevard, dwarfed by the huge architectural structures that replaced the once row of quaint houses on the Boulevard. The startling red roof draws the eye to the gables edged with lacy wooden design topped off by finials, adding a visual impact and defining the roofline. Its delicate wooden fretwork crowns the portico. The wooden fence and gates are representative of the style of that era. The artist captured the details of this building for posterity because these cottages are quickly being sacrificed for modern construction.
