Michelle Tappin-Davis is a Trinidad and Tobago–based visual artist whose work celebrates Caribbean
culture and creativity. Michelle’s practice often draws inspiration from her national heritage. Two of her
paintings, Digging For Sand, Pigeon Point and Scarborough Sunday Morning form part of the National
Heritage Collection, Shaw Park Complex, Tobago. Another of her pieces, Baigan, can be found at the
Miami Consulate in the United States of America. Beyond her personal artistry, Michelle is deeply involved
in arts leadership and outreach as President of the Women in Art Organisation of Trinidad and Tobago
(WIAOTT). Through her work, Michelle Tappin-Davis continues to inspire others to see art as a
transformative force - one that connects people, empowers creatives, and builds national pride.
